(This post was created while still being tested. The repair has not been completed yet.)

The screen has been blinking in the last few days. It is estimated that there are problems with graphics cards, monitors, SW, etc., but I didn't pay much attention to it because it blinks once or twice a day, but there are symptoms of chrome or Whale. (We can't rule out the possibility of software problems.)

I simply changed the DP cable on the monitor to an HDMI cable. Symptoms don't come out a few times a day, so you have to try it again all day. Blinking symptoms come out a day later. The symptoms don't keep coming out, so it's hard to identify the defective parts.

Tamuz Memory 2666 8GB 2 x

Today, I am using the graphic card (GTX1660 SUPER) replaced with the same model. While replacing the graphics card, the memory was also upgraded to Samsung Memory (3200). (I was writing the rest on my computer. Tamuz 8G 2666 2 pcs => Samsung 3200 8GB 2 pcs have been upgraded.)

Graphics Card Test Program Running

The Application Error window appears.

Hardware error and program stopped working

I'm also checking the Event Viewer to see the error code. (The window closes due to an error during testing with the Final Fantasy Benchmark Program)

The window was closed due to an error even when the graphics card test program was operated.

It is not easy to disconnect the computer because there are many connected devices. I tied the cable with a bread strap so that it wouldn't fall under the desk.

It's my computer, but it's not easy to open it because there are a lot of USB devices and monitors attached, so I also upgraded the Samsung MZVL2256HCHQ-00B00 I bought recently. They say it's good because it supports PCIe 4.0. Previously, I used an old 512GB SSD (MZHPU512HCGL-00000), but after about 10 years of age, I feel stuttering, but as I replace it with a new SSD, it seems to have less read/write lag.

The breakdown sticker is not certain yet, but it's a label paper that I put on to classify. I'm confused if I don't mark it because it looks the same.

There are two graphics cards of the same specification, so I'm testing them while crossing. I've been using one of them myself, checking for blinking symptoms, and one of them is mounted on the test mainboard to continue to watch the game video. The symptoms are gone now. Both graphics cards are operating normally. If the symptoms go back and forth like this, it's very hard to repair.

It's not that I can't repair it, but I have to keep using it until the symptoms come out, so I'm using it for days to find the broken accessory. If it's your computer, it's hard to use it all day and check it, and I have to install it on the test board and change it to macros. You need to find an error pattern to be able to repair it. Or just like me, you can estimate and replace the suspected accessory and test it while it's in practical use. (If the user can replace the computer maintenance = parts, they can cross-check it.)

Folding/Opening Screen Stopped Symptoms

Screen Stopping Symptom Keyboard Number Lock Alive, Control + Shift + Window + B = Reset Graphics Card Driver (Reload)

During the test process of the graphics card, the screen of all the monitors is frozen as above, so I am testing the graphics card crosswise. The screen stopped, but I think there is a problem with the computer screen output because the number lock can be turned on/off. When you shut down the computer by clicking the power button here, if the system shuts down normally, only the graphic output appears to be down, but even if you shut it down with the power switch, it doesn't turn off the system shut down.

Since the computer stopped, the power switch was pressed for more than 4 seconds to force a shutdown. There are certain symptoms of the screen stopping, so I'm checking the graphics card crosswise. It's been half a day, but I don't have any abnormal symptoms yet. However, when it goes well, it sometimes goes well all day long, so it's too early to jump to conclusions. You need to use it a little more and test it until you get the same symptoms on other boards.

In rare cases, graphics cards can also cause the screen to freeze during poor connection symptoms, just like memory cards. Why is there a bad connection with the graphic card that is still attached? As you might think, the way the card fits into the socket can cause poor connectivity in most cases. Even M.2 SSDs sometimes have abnormal symptoms due to poor connection. (Simple socket connections, such as four-hole phone jack and two multi-tabs, may not be properly connected if foreign substances are created on the metal surface = contact.) Fixed-line phones may hear noise, and power plugs may spark.)

Because most symptoms of poor connection disappear during the reassembly process, if it is a simple connection failure, the repair is sometimes completed (if symptoms disappear) without finding the cause. If the problem is solved by a simple bad connection, it takes a lot of test time because it is difficult to determine the cause. (It's already back to normal, but is it working because it's normal? Or is it a case where the symptoms are hidden? I have to try it for a few days.)

Compatibility between parts = Defects caused by poor contact may not be easy to repair.
